anyone have khaki, pekin, or rouen?

does anyone have any of these breeds? i have a pekin drake and i’m worried he will hurt the girls when i introduce him. he is just so big!

my khaki girl is REALLY tiny and is full grown. but my rouen girl is only 6 weeks old, anyone have pictures of how big their rouen hens got?

does anyone think a pekin could hurt the smaller ducks? some people have told me he will be fine but others said he is just too big?

I would say yes, he can definitely hurt them. I had a Khaki drake injure the hips of one of my Khaki girls as a result of mating and he was only slightly heavier. If they mate on land his weight would be too much. Also, your Rouen is too young to be with a male. They need to be sexually mature. That isn’t until around 4 months old. Please do not put them together.

they definitely won’t be together yet. i’ll probably wait until 5-6 months to put them together.
