Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

Thought I would let you all know that my son made the very difficult decision to let Vinnie go last night.

It was the hardest decision he has had to make.

Needless to say we are a total mess here today.
No comments needed I just thought I should mention it before someone asks how he is doing. He was very weak and it was clear he was hurting.
:hugs

:hugs I know that comments aren't helpful right now, but know we care.:hugs

@Sassysouth do you get to keep the naked legged chick? I hope so as I would love to see what it looks like all grown up.

Are all your little Cochin's the same color or did she have a mix?

Don't worry bout me I am a tough ole bird. :hugs
I am still sad for you.
I told her she was welcome to have it back, so I don’t know. The Cochins are mixed, but no black. I did pick up a white one today that seems to be a cockerel, and he is putting the Brahmas in their place (thank goodness). He is so sweet to me and those Brahmas just squawk, peck at me and freak out. And I picked up a gray/white mix. I will try to post pics tomorrow. These are the 4 I already have.
