Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

I love the chicken! It is precious!!!

I am sure my roosts are too high, but I wanted to hang nesting boxes under the roosts and still have the floor for them to walk around. My coop is only 24 sq feet!! I have some height and was trying to work with that.

You say such horrible things.

I totally feel your pain on the remodeling. I lowered my roosts and fixed my poop board do to the pdz thing and the roost was too high. My poor bantam was sitting on it like she was thinking 'How the eff am I supposed to get down from here?', I lowered it, but they don't like that I took away one of their roosts. There was a lot of pecking going on. Are the ramps too steep? I had one no one would use and it was too steep for them to climb. I hope you get everything done in time! I'm right there w/ you about loving food. I look in the mirror and it's like wtf happened.. then I eat an entire pizza. A couple weeks ago a friend took a pic of me from behind and then uploaded it to fb and tagged me in it. I was like Really?

I blame the full moon on the roosters being jerks. Mine was a turd today after he was such a good boy yesterday. There's this puffy stuff the vet gave me once when my cat had been bit by something and had a good patch of his leg muscle exposed. He wouldn't quit licking it and it looked like raw hamburger. TSC has something similar, you just puff it on the spot. It's an antibiotic.. It could help if it's an infection. https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/ideal-instruments-nfz-puffer?cm_vc=-10005

I have mine in a plastic trash can w/ a lid. It holds about 2 50lb bags.

Those are amazing! This is the bday cake I made for my tiny human this year. Normally we do penguins, but for some reason she recently became obsessed w/ chickens. I love seeing the things people come up with.

I am a professional Netflixer...I even listen to shows on there to sleep!

I am going to have to call it a night guys.
Sleep well.

I have Netflix, but rarely watch it.
I watch reality tv, Young and the Restless and ID (true crime).
Netflix is one thing I have never complained about paying for.
I have been paying for it since it started...
Anyone care to do the math for me?
:barnie

Balls the time change has me a little off.
I just tried putting my Minis to bed....They protested and said they had one hour left.
:he

My mini tried to fall asleep at 6pm tonight. *Queue the NOPE! reel* He went to sleep at 8:20pm last night. Woke up at 10:40pm for a feeding and kept me up until 1am.

So, I trundled him up to my parents' house (next door) and had him play for 2 hours. I changed him and he went right to sleep. Sure, it's 8:20pm now, but in "yesterday" time it would be 9:20pm. I'm hoping this will help him go right back to asleep when he wakes for his first night feeding.

It's hard to stay caught up
I'm having that same problem. I went to reply to stuff and then 5 pages magically appeared.

I am not sure. These chicks either eat alot or waste a lot. I cannot tell!!! I will probably go through the bag rather quickly anyway.
Unfortunately, I only see a couple of bugs today! I guess they are at the bottom! I will try to get a pic tomorrow. I joined the actual Fitbit group.
Mine waste it. It's all over the floor hidden under the straw. They were stirring stuff up today and eating things while I was working.
I joined the fitbit group too!!!!

Netflix.

I love Netflix.
Do you have it?
I LOVE Netflix!! I just finished Stranger Things. We rewatch a lot of stuff, Baby Daddy, HIMYM, Last man standing. We don't have 'real' tv.

Thank you! My nesting boxes are under my roosts, poop board w/ pdz separating them. I've made soooo many mistakes w/ this coop, I'm constantly fixing stuff. I still need put in higher dividers between the nesting boxes & I have a feeling I'm going to end up putting in another set of vents on the sides.
