Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

Later we'll introduce Chicago Italian beef. A multi day recipe that is a real pain but well worth the effort.
No, after she catches the chicken she needs to make my lasagna recipe and tell me how it worked out.
Lasagna recipe? I missed that. No holding out.....we may like lasagna too. Did you ever think of that? Lasagna tease!

I have 22 adult hens and 18 pullets that are just starting to lay. We were getting 20-24 eggs a day from 24 hens a month ago (two hens died). But now we are getting 15-20 a day from 40 laying/newly laying birds. At least the new girls started laying. We need at least 17-20 eggs a day to feed 7 adults and a 15 month old.

I'm getting 1 egg every 3 to 4 days! I have 12 girls of laying age! 5 of whom should have started laying at least a month ago.
