Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

I tried fermenting a cup of food and I about vomited!! I had a stonger stomach when I worked 11 years ago in the GI Lab.

I was force holding the Crele this evening, and a couple of Cochins decided to jump up and sit on my foot. Then a Silkie jumped up in my lap, by the Crele, and then another Cochin jumped in my lap. It was heaven!! It really was a wish come true! I have always wanted to a chicken to come sit with me on its own. :love:love

When she was ready to move to solid food, I bought Tyler's cookbook. Every meal had different green stuff in it. And she learned to love the "green stuff" as a snack in between meals. I can hand her spinach, kale, broccoli, green beans, carrots, celery, etc and it's the best snack ever, unless you compare it to tomatoes or peaches. Chocolate is really cool, but tomatoes and fruit are better.

G'night to Bob and whoever else is going to bed. I'll be heading there shortly my damn self.

Lost 2 more eggs, 7&14 as predicted. We have 8 that are DEFINITELY moving and grooving, 3 looked *good*, but they're too dark to see very well in to... so couldn't tell if they were moving.

#2, the cracked one, is dancing a little jig in their shell! I am totally shocked!!! Happily shocked though.

DH has to work a half day tomorrow, so the only plans is mulching up more leaves. Sunday is supposed to be cold and rainy, so taking the day *off*, by doing indoor chores, like folding laundry and dishes and straightening cabinets and the dining room.

Someone have a

for me!!

I've just been very busy the last two weeks.

How long does it take to get a job... 52 hrs from clicking submit on the application to getting the job offer.

I've been happily employed for 2 weeks, and love where I work.

I don't really do breakfast, since that takes time away from sleep, and I'm not normally a morning person anyhow. Yes, work starts in the morning for me, so the birds have had to adjust to an earlier bed time, as well as an earlier rise and shine. The first night they weren't to bed early they looked at me like I was taking them to the chopping block. The next morning, when I woke them up 4 hrs earlier than normal, they acted like teenagers being woke up before noon on a Saturday. They've adjusted though, and Nickalodian works well for entertainment (bright colors, stuff happening, and the keets love Paw Patrol).

The kids have really been helping out, they've cooked dinner a couple times, cleared the leaves of the driveway, and other little stuff that makes a big difference.

I'm a very happy camper.

Maybe you already told us, but what kinds of birds do you have? How many?
