Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

Yeah, mine were very interested in the garden. We had several cucumber plants that didn't grow & they decided it was a nice spot to dust bathe, normally they go under some pine trees which would be fine, except tree sap. I'll probably get some garden dirt to fill their bins and mix in some ash.

They do so love to make us feel silly!

I thought my 5+ year old bantam was all done laying eggs. I thought WOW my giant Cochin Pullet sure is laying tiny eggs! Yesterday I was in the yard and decided to gather eggs early. Nope no eggs but the Cochin bantam was in the box. I shrugged my shoulders and went about doing small chores. Then that bantam set to singing! Sure enough there was a tiny egg in there! I guess the giant ain't layin after all.

I know, right??? I watched a man get out of his car at dusk on a busy road, hugged the dog, drove off and the dog chased the car. I picked him up and he is fat, happy, flea & tick free at my grandmothers!

I have a long story about the dog I adopted from a friend, of a friend, of a friend, but I will write about that later. It is lengthy.

TAG ME when you post this. I have a story about my adopted dog(s) too!
