Hey...I make tamales once a year too!Well, I got a HUGE deal on turkeys last year, and after giving away some, we still have 3 in the freezer. We don't do the holiday thing... no Thanksgiving (DH and his family are Cherokee) and, with it just the 3 of us, we don't cook a holiday meal for Xmas either... well, we make tamales... don't ask... we spent too long of a time stationed in El Paso... (smh)....
