Totally. My little guy took an almost 5 hour nap today. From 12:40-4:50 with 20 min of awake time to nurse in the middle. Hopefully that helps his little system fight the good fight and doesn't wreck our sleep tonight.

Is she a new addition? (I don't remember and I don't want to look through 10's of pages to find out) Maybe you could set her up in a dog kennel inside the run with her own food and water and put her back in the coop with the others at night and put her back in the kennel during the day if they start bothering her. The "look no touch" method of introduction has worked very well for me.

She is! I guess she just needs a little more time. We'll see at the end of the week

This is what I use. I have small bags that I tint with different colors and my son likes to use it like Playdoh and then eat it. It taste pretty good too. I use a small paint brush and dust on the shimmer.

I'll have to give it a go some day. I bought a couple small packs of fondant for my daughter for xmas last year, but I don't think she ever used them. I'll have to confiscate it. I love the shimmer stuff. So pretty! I did get edible glitter once, but it melts when it gets wet so it doesn't do well on my cakes.

That stinks! I don’t know if I can get the run finished enough for Sesame tomorrow, but I am going to try!!! A WalMart run will put me behind this evening.

It's cold and wet here. We had a HUGE thunderstorm overnight that woke me up and kept the boys tossing and turning. Our deep fryer was outside, as well as a blanket that was on the line that I'll have to rewash. The blankets we have are huge, thick and king sized, so hard to dry fully in the dryer... it takes about 2 hours for a single blanket to dry. So there's that....

Top it with having a Fibro Flare (I have Fibromyalgia and CFS), so I knocked out for a bit... and I am massively tired today and really bad GERD.....

Just found out that DHs 4 day weekend, which was gonna be a 3 day weekend, has now turned into a 2.5 day weekend. Yeesh. He needs to retire if we are going to get this place up and running and making $$$

I am a total chef.. and I CAN bake.... but the adjustments I"ve had to make to our food... I can't bake any longer... I used to make hoagie rolls and crock pot meatballs every weekend....... no more....

So, terribly jealous of your artistic types.... I buy a walmart cake and I'm done....

I'm back in my jammies and back in bed...... everyone is fed and happy... although it is terribly MOIST here.... yeegawds....

Ok, now I want meatball sandwiches. It's always about balls here. & there's no shame in a walmart cake. They actually taste pretty good & they're super cute.

I just been cleaning today.

Nothing grand in the cooking department today either. ::sigh::

Hubby is on call this week so dinners will be either leftovers or stuff that reheats easily.

We're having lasagna.. we don't like stuff in our food so it's just mozz cheese, noodles, and meat sauce.

I am with you on writing on a cake. Next time, STENCIL is how I am doing it!

when your kids are small sometimes you have to make a choice between catching up on "important" stuff or taking a nap with the kids.
Always choose the nap.
All that other stuff can wait.

My tiny human passed out while I would out chickening. She's been out for at least 2 hrs now. They are not 'falling back' properly.

Sounds pretty normal to me. If she starts to bleed, that is when it's a problem. One day, my Orpingtons decided to totally eat the tail off of the lowest bird in the order. I took it out, it always had been the runt, nursed it back to health, (tail never grew back). When I put it back in with them, I went to work, came home and they had killed that little runt. Got to watch close!

That's so sad!

She too smart is the problem! She sees me getting stuff ready for her and goes under the dining room table. Then she lays on what I need to treat. She's heavy and STRONG!

I do my best to soothe her and stay calm. If I get flustered and frustrated she takes advantage and cooperates even less.

Thanks @pitbullmomma. I live in one of the most expensive areas to own a pet in Ohio. When my Chihuahua needed a dental and a cat needed to tooth pulled I drove 2 hrs south to another vet. I got the dental, teeth pulled on dog and cat. Shots for dog and brought monster dog along to get shots and testing for her too. It was still cheaper then getting just the dental at my usual vet. And they kept monster dog for me so I could go sight seeing!

IDK if it's too far for you, but take my mammal pets to the vet in Newton Falls. They're great. They even put my hamster down when he got sick. IDK what was wrong w/ him but he bloated up like a balloon and his skin turned blue under his fur. It was horrible, but they were so nice. Even sent me a card.
