Anyone have luck catching a feral chicken?? UPDATE: Rooster caught, no hen

I need to order some seeds and get it planted. We'll get freezes here from time to time, but planning on putting in the low tunnels on my raised beds when it get's cooler. It's not uncommon to cook Christmas dinner on the grill in shorts and a t-shirt. Birds go into winter housing around the first of the year. Feb and Mar can be down right frigged.

Staring a screens too much! LOL
It was the cat hair. Plus the screen!
I love him so much and I'm fine as long as I don't pet him a bunch, then touch my eyes before washing my hands which I apparently did last night. I could feel it in there, then started rubbing and digging and just made a mess of myself!

Cat hair does that to me, just being in a house with cats. Bird dust, no prob. Cats just set my asthma, and allergies off! No cats for me!:caf

Sounds like tunnels would be perfect. It can handle some frost, and I had "Seattle snow" which only lasted 1 day and it was fine with just a sheet. I love it fresh. You can break off just a couple of outside leaves and it keeps growing.

Raise the roof! Raise the roof! Putting a roof on the run today and screwing down what is sitting there. The metal has been held down with a ratchet strap for months. Hahaha!

My hubby is allergic to cats and hates cats, but I grew up with cats. Dh said we could have a barn cat, but he knows how that goes. Everything ends up in the house, eggcept chickens. I want a cat, but I don’t want it to kill my song birds and ground squirrels. Plus, I don’t want prizes left byvmy door!!!

Wet, moist air and cold this morning!! I will have had 5 days I could have slept in, but I have setting my alarm at 6:00 to go let the chickens out if the coop. I have lost my mind!!! They go to bed at 4:30, so I need to go let them out. Time change is evil!!!

I'm eggcited for you today.
And I too, am having an especially hard time making this time change this year.
We like cats but have a limit of 1 due to allergies.
He's the dog's BFF. In fact, the dog picked him out himself!
Here he is, in all his innocence.

He doesn't look guilty! I think he looks proud of himself!
