Awesome! I’ve been in search of this and chicken genetics can be so confusing . We have a blue Wyandotte Roo and ameracauna who lays blue eggs so we were curious if this would create a green layer. We’ve taken a few eggs of hers to incubate and are hoping to be true! Thanks for the response!

Depends if ypur hen has two blue egg gene or one if its two then all offspring would lay green if one copy then theres a 25% chance some could lay brown

My girls are the offspring of splash laced red Wyandotte x black ameracauna they lay blueish to olive green eggs, the brown egg is my standard Wyandotte egg for the comparison
