It would probably be just for wool but in the future we may harvest them. I'm not sure how much space we'll have so we'll have to see. Either way I'd like to get some when I'm a bit olderWhat is your goal?
Lamb is delicious. Mutton is good, assuming it’s harvested and prepared in a very specific manner.
Sheep will need sheared once a year. Hoofs kept up (trimmed, foot baths, etc). But are generally easy to keep. They aren’t much on browsing, and I typically see foxtail where they congregate in mass. I believe the foxtail seeds are still viable when they pass through their digestive system.
Milk, meat, or mowers???No sheep, I have goats tho
I would love to get some goats. I'm thinking Nigerian Dwarf goats since they are good dairy breeds and friendly, as they are often kept as pets.No sheep, I have goats tho
