Hi again
RE: Silver-penciled Plymouth Rocks
I got them from George Nauss of Brookfield, NS. Apparently when the Agricultural College in NS dispersed their heritage flocks, he got some of the birds.

(Thanks for the translation: OEG meaning Old English Game)

The rooster doesn't look like the hens. He has some white on his back and the top part of his wings. The rest of him is black/teal green and grey

Thank you newchooks (for the link to Wynettes site)

I am happy to see that my rooster looks normal (and like other silver-pencilled PRs). He does't have as much white on him as the mature rooster pictured on that site. I am hoping that he will develop a full neck ruff.

Bye for now.

Wynette has been off the computer for a week or so now. She's got stuff going on and can't be here right now, so don't feel offended if she doesn't reply. I do know her birds are not laying at the moment. PM her though and let her know you are interested in eggs.

Here you go Cyn. These are my girls from Wynette's stock and they are absolutely HUGE! ETA: They are 28 1/2 weeks old in this picture.
