I have five Hamburgs that are 10 weeks old. Two of which are blue/gray spangled and three that are silver spangled. I have one that is for sure a cockrel because his combs are in and his tail is alot longer than the rest. Im just not sure about two possibly three others. When I let them out in the morning he seems to go after one at a time and fluff up his neck feathers and stare at them as if to claim his territory or place in the flock. I also have RIR's which he doesnt bother. So are the ones he is going after males as well??? Or is he just being temermental?
Thanks in advance. I will have to post pic when or if it ever stops raining here.

I paid for two and get them in September. My three year old has named them Polkadot and Swiper. No idea about your q, though. Sorry!

I've had 2 silver-spangled hens, and now have 5 one-month-old silver-spangled chicks. One of my chicks is already very obviously a cockerel. It has a very wide, very large, pink comb, with little pronounced bumps all over it. The other four all have much thinner, smaller combs so far, and they're not even pinking up. My first 2 SSH pullets' combs took probably a year to turn into much at all. I'd say the comb is going to be your best bet at judging cockerels and pullets. By 10 weeks, you should also be seeing saddle feathers develop on any males. Cockerels saddle feathers will be pointy while pullets will be more rounded.

Here's a pic of the comb of my 30 day old SSH cockerel.

This is a picture of the male I have always guess to be a cockrel from his large combs. The other chicks dont seem to have his large comb unless they are just taking longer to come in.

This is a picture of a possible cockrel? I think his sattle feathers look like a male but his comb is not as big as the other SSHamburg.

Sorry edited it to make the pic larger.

Here is a picture I just took today of the one I believe is a male.

Wow, they might all be males, but I'm not sure. Their tail feathers are starting to look sickle-shaped, and my hens' tails never got that shape to them. They always just fanned pretty, and never curved downward. Let me see if I can find a good tail picture. I don't have those two anymore, so I can't go get a pic specifically of their tails.

OK here's what I found, 12 weeks old...

I have some silver spangled hamburgs and I wish I had done more research on them. They are crazy as bedbugs

They are all the same age and only a few weeks old and crazy birds! Took awhile to train them to come into the coop but they now are finally doing so on their own. They free range with one blue orp pullet who seems to have taken responsibility for them. They hide under her wings. I have a couple with bright red peacombs so I assume they are the roos? Will they ever settle down?
