anyone heard of a cukoo maroo?

just picked up some chicks from the feed store today and one of them is a cukoo maroo? never heard of them. the guy said they look like a barred rock when full grown? what is their temperment?

He probably means a cuckoo marans. And yes, they do look like barred rocks as adults, but they lay super dark eggs!

I think he meant Cuckoo Maran, they lay a very dark brown egg.
I have two, nice calm personality.

thank you for your response. do you think they will get along with my 2-sex-links and americaunanas? i also got a buff chick today as well. my daughter and myself are having the time of our lives with this whole chicken thing. oh yea we got 2 sebright chicks today as well.

They should get along fine, how old are the others?
