Anyone here use the welded wire fencing for chickens?

That's good, it's the same one I was going to buy at TSC.

I used the Redbrand for all my fencing. Top, bottom, sides, etc... Added some hardware cloth along the bottom 3 feet because little ones can fit through the openings. Seems pretty solid although I have had a few welds pop. Got mine at Home Depot 5ft x 100ft for about $70.

Before we moved we had part of our fence fenced in with welded wire. I don't know the brand or anything, my dad put it up when I was little and he's not here for me to ask

. Anyway, that fence stood up to quite a beating, imagine 7 children constantly throwing firewood at it (on accident, of course) and it didn't break one bit. There was also a mammosa (spelling?) tree growing through it and the tree almost had a branch cut off from trying to grow through the fence. Hope this helps!

EDIT: We have never owned chickens, but I'm hoping my experience will help with your decision.

Just avoid the cheapo stuff that Home Depot sells! RedBrand is better, stronger, with fewer broken welds.

Sorry, Home Depot here does not sell RedBrand, only Lowe's does. I didn't realize it was different elsewhere.

Lowes and TSC has Red Brand here too, I dunno about Home Depot. Lowes is usually marginally cheaper than TSC, but it's a further drive for me so...
