If one egg got rotten under nesting bird, and I removed the rotten egg and put clean bedding under her, will the other eggs be affected? Should I remove any egg that got some of the rotten stuff on it (it's dried onto a couple other eggs) that would leave just a few... should I clean the eggs off that have dried rotten stuff on them?
she's off the nest for a few minutes so I have a chance to take away some eggs.

Well, the hen went back onto her nest, so I think my window of opportunity to wash or remove other eggs are gone. Unless I'm here another day when they hop off the nest. At least I got to clean out the rotten egg. Hopefully the rest will still hatch.

I think you will be fine. I know you are not suppose to wash eggs. I think it removes the bloom or something like that.
