Anyone impatiently waiting for your baby chicks to arrive?!?!

My chicks won't be here until after March 17. I have had chickens for several years and currently have a small flock of 6 hens & 2 roosters for eggs. The hens are 2 OE, 1 Araucana, 2 RIR, 1 Black Sex link. The roosters are a Gold Laced Polish Crested and a Barnyard Mutt. The Araucana & the Polish Crested were strays that showed up at my coop wanting in. I thought surely they were some neighbor kids 4H project but no one ever claimed them. (The Araucana has turned out to be a good little layer of blue eggs, the Polish Rooster needs a new home.) I will replace my current laying flock and Roosters with some of the new guys when they grow up. I am working toward a colorful egg basket and for meat. This is what I have on order from McMurray:

4 Buff Orpington pullets
4 Dominique pullets
8 Welsummer straight run
10 Black Langshans straight run
10 Black Jersey Giants straight run
10 Silver Gray Dorkings straight run
8 Barred Rocks straight run
4 Silver laced Wyandotte pullets
6 Americauna pullets
1 free exotic chick

I have come to the conclusion that I have completely lost my mind.

I have only raised 3 or 4 chicks at a time in the past so I am worried about doing so many at once. Right now I am laying in supplies, expanding the run and building some additional housing separate from my existing coop. I have some large wooden packing boxes (like heavy equipment comes in) cut down to use for brooders. I was afraid to try the Cornish X, heard too many horror stories and I kinda like the slow food concept. The Langshans, Jersey Giants & Dorkings will be mostly for meat, although I will probably keep a few hens. The pullets will be mostly for eggs although I will probably cull some of them for meat. I have never raised chickens for meat, just my few hens for eggs. I am worried about running the Jersey Giants with the rest of the flock.

Do you think my husband will notice when we go from 8 chickens to 60?

thanks, martha Light,
I miss my silkies, my husband wanted a few egg layers, hoping the red ones were RHR
they came with assorted pullets in whites, buffs, reds and blacks.
I'm currently in remission, sold out of my silkies when I was in the hospital for several weeks, and my husband doesn't want me to get back into them, I was obsessed with them , lol.

their feet are yellow,so are their beaks. I thought EE were assorted variations of colors. these are red with barring in their flight feathers.
They looked all red when I got them at day olds. I'm wanting brown egg layers.

I didn't read all the replies, but YES I CAN"T WAIT! My FB buddies are sick of hearing about my crazy chicken lady antics, lol. I was going to wait till late March, then changed my date to early March, then Tuesday, I called McMurray back and changed my date to TODAY! At the rate I've added birds to my order just since placing it Friday, I'd go broke and have 200 babies coming! I'm already up to 41 not including the freebies.
25 meat/Egg combo
4 brahma's
3 minorca's
2 salmon faverolles
4 Polish Pullets and a roo
2 others I can't remember b/c the lady hooked me up with b/c she felt sorry for me being cooped up with a snarky teenager in an ice storm.

When I called the post office, a 2 man show in the sticks, to let her know chicks would be arriving and to call me noon or night to come get them, she wasn't near as excited as I am...Then I realized, I think I've lost my mind and have feathers in my head now, lol. My son plans on selling eggs, we plan on putting some in the freezer, and giving some babies to mjy Mom and brother. PLUS, I got 9 mixed breeds off a swap site Sat. and 6 big one outside. Yep! Being iced in with a credit card is a scary thing! LOL.
