Anyone in the Bay Area?

I helped a friend out by directing her to the chicken ordinances link, where we discovered that she CAN have chickens where she lives! Yay! But now I am trying to help her find a place to get them.

She is in Fremont, CA. Anyone in the area know where she can get some chicks?

I know Scotts valley Feed carries chicks this time of year... not quite in the bay area, but not too far either...

I know Close and Feed in Hayward has some chicks, because that's where I got mine hardy har har

You could always check out Mikes Feed and Pets in San Leandro.

There's also Bay Area Hay and Feed in Livermore.

Sunol Tack and Feed in Sunol.

I'd call each of them to confirm though.

EDIT: Just thought that maybe a fellow BYCer has some chicks that your friend could get.
