Live in Teays Valley, 5th generation on my land. Uncle was going to sell to a developer just like everyone else in town has. We begged him not to sell and bought the last 3.75 acres that was left of Great-Grandpa's farm. Not much land, but huge by Teays Valley standards these days. Lots of multi-million dollar subdivisions around here now. The only folks in the neighborhood with chickens... drives the Volvo-moms nuts I'm sure! One lady from a neighboring subdivision complained about the cows out back once. They've been grazing here 110+ years. County Commision told her too bad, they're grandfathered in. She didn't like the smell... wanted me to pooper scoop! Maybe she should go back to town?
