Hi I'm not far from Charleston. I'm in Orma,Calhoun county. About an hour north of Charleston

Cool what kind of chickens do u have? I have some hatchery New Hampshires,red sexlink hens and a bared rock roo that free range. 5 hatchery buff Orpington pullets and 2 of my flock mix that I hatched in a brooder and 36 eggs in the incubator for the Easter Hatch-a-Long.

A couple barred rocks, some brahma crosses, white leghorn crosses that lay green eggs, and a black australorpe, altogether 17 chickens.

Should be, i have 4 roosters of that same cross. I sold chicks last year and those same chicks are laying green eggs as well.

Hi all! Im from Wv, near Charleston. Ive been on BYC for awhile but thought i would come over here and see how many West Virginians i could find on BYC.

I have one drake, runner x pekin cross who is mentally handicapped. Pipped at the wrong end.

Sweet I'll have to hit u up for some eggs or chicks (gotta wait to see how many of mine hatch first) but most I'm giving to a friend and a neighbor that are starting flocks

How well do your runner ducks lay? I've never had ducks but am tossing around the idea of runners since they don't need a pond/pool to mate.
