I believe there is an East End market once a week -Anyone know of some nice farmers markets or local produce shops around Charleston area? I keep going to the one on Smith Street, maybe I'm just timing it badly but I'm always a bit disappointed with the turnout... seems to be mostly flowers outside, and Purple Onion's "local produce" still had Dole stickers on them.![]()
Maybe in a couple years when I get OUT of the city I'll be asking around for my own chickies too![]()
You can have chickens in Charleston, up to six hens.
I order from www.monroefarmmarket.com they have something like 25-30 different producers and deliver to Charleston every Thursday.![]()
