I am about an hour and a half from there so not too far. lol I live in the middle of nowhere. Like no kidding even when I was in school people would ask oh where do you live and I was like oh you know Clear Fork area and they would be like HUH?!

Sounds like where I wanna live. Id so trade my house in town for a shanty in the woods. I graduated from Logan High in 19...well, a long time ago...

That's a great idea! I find bags of old bread and stuff on my gate often from nice neighbors. I bet the chickens love the stew! And its so good for them. My parrot eats everything I eat. Even chicken bones. He cracks them. We have an urban deer hunt here in town. The wildlifes taking over the capital city!

I like it, the woods is literally in view of my back yard. my house is in a valley and I am surrounded by tall mountains. the best thing is going up the holler on the dirt road and finding ramps or black berries. I really love my area. Heck I loved it so much that when I became an adult I bought the property next to my parents. I really never left home.

How far away from charleston do you live? Will be easy to meet you guys when I get marans eggs for you.
There's a herd of deer living around my house. They eat everything I plant. Grrr... The hunt thinned them out some. If your husbands a hunter he could get I think six deer here in town. Got to kill a doe first. Just too many. I live downtown and have deer, racoon, opposum, coyote, fox, hawks and of course crows. We had a bear at the dump that was relocated.

My family has a farm in rural Boone county. I wish I could have stayed there but had to move here for work in 1994. Now I'm retired and want to move back to the country. I'm alone and disabled, so that may not happen.

I'm new to the bator addiction but wanna give it a try. I have the bator and the eggs...just have a problem. I live in a city and can only have a few chickens. I'm beyond the number now. My bad...
Anyway, I want to try hatching my ameracaunas eggs. But before I do, I need to know if anyone would be interested in buying them for a very low price. I need to know they have good homes.
Please reply with how many you would want. I have saved eggs the past few days.

Ya know...he won't hurt ya after he's dead. Lol. Sorry... lol. People actually eat them! When they give birth, the babies are so small, you can fit six or so in a tablespoon. But so ugly!

Dog problem has been taken care of, mixed feelings about it but I'm glad my birds are safe. He was going after my light Brahma roo in the barn

Crows are a good thing! They keep the hawks away! They don't like them in their territory
