Farmers only worry during the growing season, but towns people worry all the time.

Very Nice looking. If I were to come down that way, are any hens available as well? Or just the roosters?

I'm in WV...Princeton, and can see the VA line from my house. I've been keeping bees, and now going to give a shot at chickens.

I'm in the design phase of building a chicken tractor. It's looking to be relatively heavy...but nice. I've gathered chicken wire is for chickens, and not predators. Of course we have dogs, and I've seen skunks, fox, oppossum, racoons, black snakes, hawks, and owls.

What kind of wire fence would you recomend? I've read hardware cloth is good (1/2" squares), but would like to use something lighter like fencing with 2" x 3" squares.

How about some sage advice? Thanks.

Thanks for letting me know, I am the one searching for the BLRW and she does have great looking birds. I was confused at first but i get it now

Yes she does and goats too, I got a dozen from her last year vis USPS and they scrambled them good. I'm picking them up this year so I get a hatch.
