Anyone in WV???

Sometimes I feel like I'm about two hours from EVERYBODY! LOL.

Lol
That's ok. I'm about ten minutes outside of Winfield, and 26 miles from Charleston, not remote in the least to me but my stepmother over the weekend said she'd be scared to live where I do. Hahaha!
And her daughter in the city was just threatened by her drunk neighbor for the kids playing too loud in the backyard. Um, hello.

I have a bunch of laying hens for sale as well as a french blue copper maran rooster and a breeding trio of Mille Fluer Duccles.

I can post pics here if interested or you can go to "Nicks Chicks and Fairchance Eggs" on Facebook for more information.

Prices vary depending on the bird. Types for sale include 2 black austrolorp, one game hen,a handful of red sex links, a light Brahma, one black and one blue/grey Americana, a breeding trio of miMille Fluer Duccles, and a Blue French Copper Maran rooster.

Prices somewhere between $6-$10 per bird. Live in Morgantown!

anyone in the Charleston area looking for silkies - I've got 10 silkie chicks right now that I need to sell. these are from breeder stock - parents are partridge, buff and blue partridge. Here are some pictures of the parents

You might look up Scott Byars on Facebook. He deals with them some, I think, and if he's not needing any he might know someone who does. I'd be tempted if our coop wasn't full and we didn't have so many hawks!
I have a cochin/silkie cross that I just adore...

I live in Summers county near Alderson. I have 31 hens and 5 roosters. I am trying to get rid of some of them before winter. I know I want to get rid of 2 roosters but I don't want to kill them. One is a 3 year old Buff Orpington. His name is Little Jerry (like in the Seinfeld episode.) He is really big and he USED to be aggressive until my dad hit him with a snow shovel. He never bothered us after that. The other is a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte. Since the blue coloring does not breed true, I think he actually has splash coloring. He has never been aggressive, although he has never been the dominant rooster. He is pretty big as well.
