Hello everyone! I'm glad to see some more 'Eers on here besides myself. Im intrested in all aspects of farming growing up and moving back to my family's 400 acre farm in Barbour Country.

Welcome from Fairview! For those who do not know, Fairview is sort of between Morgantown and Fairmont.

I am just starting to get really lovely eggs from the youngsters. The Wheaten Americaunas are giving truly lovely dark blue-green eggs, and the Welsummers are giving dark eggs, some with speckles, and the Cuckoo Marans are laying nice chocolate brown eggs. A nice rainbow basket!

If anyone needs are gorgeous Wheaten Americauna Roo, I have one or two more than I need, plus a really pretty Americauna Roo.

We've got about 7 or 8 inches... news said we were only supposed to get about 2-4 last night... said we're supposed to get 6 or so today... wonder what that translates to

Im pumped cause we haven't had accumulation like this in quite a few years and I can brag to hubby. I said early this Spring that "with all this rain we've been getting, Im sure we'll get lots of percipitation this Winter"

I need to start writing a book of all my "rights" and his "wrongs" so I can refer to it when Im on the spot... cause I can never remember them later....
