That's great! I have a few of the wm's but are of my other breeds. I have 2 big wm orders to get out before I go selling alot of them. I have 8 I think give or take one growing out for my self now and 3 nice roosters I kept. 1 is looking very good right now. I may in up keeping him. I'm working on the blue wheaten's alot this year too. There are a few of the wm pullets that I will most likely have at the swap and if not then at the next one. The roo I have now is throwing some dark ones and very nice lighter pullets. I have sold out of the blue/ blue copper Marans and only have the wheaten to work on. No worries I like the blue wheaten better. LOL. What I am hatching is the f1 of the Wyandotte's and f2 of the olive egg layers. Plus a new line of meat birds for ourselves. After this year I will be closing the flocks and just working on what I have. Not getting any more breeds or colors of the same breed. I will have got what I want and start getting some show birds growing and go from there. The swaps just help me with my land use and to feed the chickens. Yeah now your girls ate laying and mine ate thinking of going to the picket line now. You would think once a year month strike would be enough.

Yell your family hello for me.

Well, what do you all think? Are we going to get this awful ice storm?

It doesn't look too bad today, but you never know.

Yesterday Fed Ex did not deliver something to me because they couldn't get here. I wish they had called, as I could have had them leave it somewhere.

Yes, my gals are laying like crazy also.

I figure they are bored.

They have nothing to do, as all their scratching grounds are covered with snow, so they say, 'Oh what the heck, let's go lay an egg.'
