Anyone interested in doing a canning swap?

Medium flat rate is $10.95 we could do 1/2 pints or Pints. Whichever way would be more votes. of course 1/2 pints would be lighter and cheaper.

...or if i you live close enough to one another, you could just meet up and make the swap instead of going through the expense of shipping!

Sounds and looks yummy. I think u would be surprised who might like it.

It really just depends whether you want to do it or not and if you would like to try something differant. That's really what it is about. If no one is interested then I won't be starting a swap. Just thought I would see if there would be any interest in it.

The post office also has the 7x7x7 priority box that ran 6-7$ if you can get the swappers close to each other. But if I who lives in Alabama has to ship to California it would be crazy to ship. I did a canning swap maybe a year or 2 ago on here and I did try to keep people paired close so like Alabama had Georgia or Florida. California had Washington or Idaho and that helped greatly with the shipping. You know its just fun getting to try other peoples canned goods. You can't look at it like that jar of jam cost me $10 I could have bought it at the store for $3. Most of us have taken gambles on shipped eggs and paid the shipping sometimes they develop sometimes they don't sometimes they hatch and sometimes they don't but you paid the shipping. This way you will get something a jar of something!! I am in if you get it going.

Thanks so much. I feel the same way. If we can get enough people interested then I can get it going.
