I like cars, but the cars I'm usually talking about are the more modern style. Now, don't get my wrong, I'll

my fair share (or more) at a 69 Camero or a 65 mustang but there's no way I know enough to ever own one. I actually like talking about cars more than driving them.

Or maybe I just hate the 99 wrangler I've got...

Obsessed. I love to build / race / and weld.

My father and I combined have one of every generation camaro. (He has most of the cool ones though - *cough*, even though I build them) I only have a 70's camaro. I also like to play around with the newer import cars. So easy to make so fast.

Bikes too. We have 2 harleys. Deuces.

Yup me to! I'm a diesel fan! My name is my favorite. I've always wanted my husband to own a duramax... He tows a trailer and tractor to work. An and he used to do it in old 1979 chevy 350 really cool old truck but I was afraid it would break down on him. So last June we finally could afford a dmax! So I don't worry about him any more. And with the big 6.6 diesel he says it tows like a dream! I drive a 99 suburban... With the 5.7 I do all my own oil changes an most maintenance. Buy my dream is a diesel suburban! Some day maybe.....

Oh I also like to detail cars....wash, wax, vaccume, shampoo, clay bar, I'm not a pro just enjoy cleaning them! Yeah I know I'm strange. But the money I earn supports my chicken addiction so it works out!

Yes driving his diesel is a night an day difference its got POWER! Compared to my burb. We added 4" turbo back exhaust and a computer programmer to it. it'll roast its tires. Its probably got close to 400 hp maybe more?
We didn't want to go into debt for my burb. So that's why I have an old one, its old but its mine an not the banks... The dmax well the bank owns that one for 5 more years...

Hi,

I am new here , Beekissed's big sister. Also in WV. I live in small Mt. town.

Have 1/4 acre lot and 100+ yrs. old house, that we heat with wood that we scavenge, and give-aways( we always have enough), 1 wood stove with cook top, and 1 custom made cast iron drum built into a furnace.

We buy older Cadillacs and have them reconditioned to drive(the ultimate in recycling)I just got my first Escalade because in the Mtns. 4wd is not optional, we get over 150 inches of the white stuff per yr. (s__w is a 4 letter word in this house,LOL) this winter was about 300 inches.

I live SS as much as circumstances allow. I sew (since I was 8 yrs. old) Quilt, Crochet, Knit. Member of Crochet Guild of America) I have a masters certificate in basic stitches from same. Bake my own bread ( sourdough), pick wild blackberrys, and black rasberries to make preserves, jelly and wine. I have nice rubarb and garlic patch in back yard and grow containers and flower beds and hanging baskets, 3kinds of mint tea, lavender. parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme...,oregano, basil, cherry tomatoes, 8-ball zuccini, lettuce, rainbow chard, and much more. We have a very short growing season.

I do store and prep for emergency situations because we have experienced a few over the years. I also have experience in living off grid.

We live near a large Amish community so there is always lots of local produce and meat if we want it, actually a little cheaper than raising it ourselves, ( been-there-done-that). Lots of organic farmers at our local markets in the season. Although I would rather have a garden, but, my property is steep, covered with moss, and there are more slugs than you could even imagine.

I have six dozen beautiful ex-large brown eggs in my frig, and I didn't buy them at the store. Thats all I have to say about that.

I live with DH of 37 yrs. DD and DS grown, empty nest for about 15 yrs. no grandchildren, DD lives next door. I don't work outside the home.

I am a minister, I spend a lot of time in Bible study, spiritual and theocratic activities.

I am working on an afghan and a quilt top at the present time. I am a fair cook, mostly Italian, taught by my D(departed)MIL.

I mostly like to view the threads on these forums as a bystander,(I prefer that to lurker). I find some of them interesting, just so you know I mean no harm. It has taken me an hour to write this. What can I say, I'm a boomer and ADD, never learned to type well, didn't grow up with computers.

We don't work on the Cad's but we love

to drive and ride in them.
