anyone know about ducks...?

Has any one ever put hot sauce in there hens chicken water...I have not but I was told it makes them feel warm is this true
 
I wouldn't put anything funky like this in their water. It will cause some of them or maybe even all of them to not drink this water. And dehydration can lead to egg binding, digestion issues and being cold. So give them plain water. If they are healthy and eating, they can stay warm in the coldest of temps.
