Anyone know how much ACV to how much water?

I read somewhere on here that it is used as a wormer. I was so excited about that. I sure hope it can kill worms. Hmmm, I'll have to research a little more. Boy if it could be a wormer or prevent worms that'd just be great, wouldn't it!

Apple Cider Vinegar (or ACV for short) does have numerous health benefits and supports the immune system. ACV is certainly full of vitamins, minerals and trace elements. It helps to lower the pH level in the stomach, helping digestion and making it a less friendly for harmful pathogens. ACV detoxifies the blood and helps remove mucous from within the body, this is particularly useful since chickens are particularly prone to respiratory problems and ACV can be of benefit in helping birds to clear their airways. Due to the acid content of ACV, it is an antiseptic. As well as killing germs, it is also a mild antibiotic as well, (that is, it contains bacteria that destroy infectious organisms).

I don't think of ACV as really a wormer although some websites refer to it as having ability to kill intestinal worms.

It works really well on my skin when I get itchy from something in the woods that woould cause me to have poison ivy symptoms. Instant itch relief and blisters disappear in a matter of hours.

Cool. I just today added ACV to my dog's and cat's water containers after learning its health benefits for them as well. ACV is truly nature's wonder drug. I have used it for myself for several months and love it, just never thought about it being good for pets. That's too bad about the worms, but oh well, there's enough reasons to use it.

Make sure that you are using organic apple cider vinegar, I hear that the regular stuff doesn't work as well. Also, the doseage that I was told to use is is 1 Tablespoon per gallon of water.

So does this mean you have to buy a special bottle of apple cider vinegar? The one you buy from the grocery store isn't as good?

Sorry, just a little confused. I give ACV to my chicks... a couple drops in their water dish. The seem to like the taste.

you can use store bought, but your better with the one that mother in it, i buy Bragg's brand, it still has all the nutritional value in it.
I either get from the health food store or GNC, or some Spartan store will carry it.

From another BYCER, you can buy an entire gallon of Bragg's ACV on Amazon for less than $15 delivered - very good deal - it is the best ACV and that is cheaper than the health food store, who charges $19 per gallon
