Anyone Know How to Fix This Eye

So my chicken has been having a problem with her left eye for a while now. I'm not sure exactly when it started but all I know is that it's been like this for a while and it hasn't gone away. The first photo below was taken sometime in April of last year. This photo shows the development of the bubble, which I believe is a growth on the conjuctiva.

Compared to now, the bubble has increased in size.

I'm sure it doesn't hurt her but I still want to fix it in case something happens. Is there anything I can do prior to taking her to the vet?

Is there a feather or something black in the area that you can get out of the eye? It might be a cyst. I would be inclined to email the pictures to someone at the University of Penn vet school poultry department for an opinion. Does she seem to have any problems from the cyst? I don’t know if it could be something similar to cherry eye in dogs.

That black thing might've been a strand of the feather. I'm not sure about the problems from the cyst. I don't think it hurts her and she doesn't seem to be bothered by it.
