Anyone know if there's a problem with Blackhead in NY?

I'm looking into getting turkeys and want to know if it's a big problem because I'd like to free range during the day but have a good size flock of chickens and an acre of property.I don't want to pen them (except at night) unless I have to. Any info for a new turkey owner would be greatly appreciated! Also, Where's the best place to get them,especially if you don't want more than 3-4?

IDK about NY but no problem in PA. If you want only 3-4 get them from a local breeder.

Cool,that's good to know.Also,another question....how much space does the coop need if I want to keep a tom,2 hens and let them hatch if they will for butcher?
