At the vet we would classify him as a "Domestic ShortHair - Orange".

Cats have breeds?????

Just kidding, I know they have cat shows same as dog shows, and cat "breeders" and such, but I don't know of anybody in real life who has any certain breed of cat. Most come in off the streets or from a shelter. I think the "variety" is nice. We've had fluffy long hairs, and big chunky cats with stubby limbs, and slim jim cats with super-long tails, and so on and so forth.

I cannot figure out her breed.

Orange kitty=Domestic Shorthair (DSH)

Kitty in Background, Looks like it could be a Main coon, or a Forrest Cat, But could also just be a Domestic Long Hair (DLH)

Either way they are both adorable!

Cat breeds are no different than dog breeds...
Some folks like "pure breeds".. and others dont mind the mixed breeds...

I have both... pure breeds and domestic mixed breeds...
they're ALL just still cats... just like they're all just still dogs. Papers are just a piece of paper.
