Have fun with her
Love her, spoil her and treat her like your dogs
Mine lives in the house, we have a ramp down the steps on both doors so she can go outside. Out the front door is freedom!!! She runs right to my birdfeeders and starts eating what she can find on the ground, and next is the chicken coop. In the pen and up the ramp and lifts up the feeder lid and starts eating. Out the back door is her pen, that is where she is let out most of the time. She is potty trained and when she needs to go out she stands by the door and snorts/squeals. She eats rawhides with the dogs and plays with them. During the day when we are both gone she is in her dog kennel with a rabbit waterer, small cement block and her favorite blanket. At night she puts herself to bed on the couch burrowing under the blanket. We trained ours to come inside by saying treat.. blossom want a treat?? Come... that word didn't work for us, she heard come and ran the other way
Ours gets fed twice a day, same as the dogs and gets treats during the day. She gets a little bit of pig food (make sure you don't get the food with finisher in it) and then her veggies. We use mainly frozen veggies unless its in the summer and we can get fresh ones for her. She loves her peas. Her treats are usually a peice of bananna, or a cracker, or some bird seed sprinkled on her rug. Sometimes I make her "special" treats. We started her out training her to a harness by putting a dog collar around her belly just behind her front legs and leading her with that. We can now take her where ever on her harness, when we take dogs for walks if it is warm enough she usually goes with on her harness.
Anyways, I could ramble on all day about her
Just remember all pigs are different. MIL has blossoms sister and she is a completely different pig. If you have any questions feel free to ask I may be able to answer
