I've heard a handful of people on here say that their that their Buff Orphingtons lay pinkish eggs. I have 2 BO's but they havent laid yet. I had an EE that lays pink eggs. You could get a handful of EEs and have colored eggs and maybe get luck and get one that lays pink eggs. Below is my EE's pink egg. I got her from Meyers Hatchery out of ohio. After seeing her pink egg i ordered 4 more EE's from Meyers. They are just 13 weeks old now but it wont be long and maybe i will have another pink egg layer.

I have a BO that has just begun laying and her eggs are a very pretty pink. Hopefully they will stay that way and not get darker.

I have a buff orpington that lays mauve pink eggs, when they are refrigerated they look slightly browner, but bring them back to room temp and they are pink again. It is cool. I got her at the feed store, so I am unsure of what hatchery she came from.

Thats exciting to know. I have a BO that is 22 weeks old and should lay soon and i also have one that is 13 weeks old, so maybe i will be getting a couple more pink eggs.
