it's for a friend of mine.. I'm thinking the dark one in the back is a black sex link.. the one in front of her might be a black sex link as well.. possible an amercauna? but as for the other pic I have no clue what she is, as I have a bird similar and still don't know lol TIA :-)

Those chickens are gorgeous!

The two top ones both look like Easter Eggers/Ameraucanas

The bottom one looks like a female Silver Dorking (a really great breed)

Best of luck to you and your flock! And your friends flock as well!

Here's my Ameraucana, Eagle

Ameraucana are not the same as EE. GitaBooks, that's an easter egger. Not an ameraucana.

Too two are ameraucana. Bottom one I'm not sure.

What's the difference? Easter Eggers are not pure-breeds, are they? Ameraucanas are, right?

Do you mean that my chicken is an EE or that Kaylanoto's are EEs?

Thanks for the heads up.

I've heard that Ameraucanas are often mixed up with Araucanas, even though the latter doesn't have a tail!

Both. Your birds and hers. Easter eggers are just mutts that carry the blue egg gene and are mislabeled as ameraucana or araucana at about every hatchery in the u.s. but Meyer. They can be a combo of any features and lay any colored eggs. Ameraucana are true breed and come in eight standard colors with some project colors, such as my lavs. They can only lay blue eggs and must have muffs, a beard, and a pea comb.
Araucana are rumpless and famously known for their tufts, however, no hatchery in the US sells true araucana. They are expensive and rare because the tufts are a lethal gene that kills the offspring in the shell if bred tufted to tufted.
