Anyone know what breed these are aswell as suspected gender. They are about six weeks old.

Yeah...the feet aren't typical of Cochin or Marans...so I looked at the eyes.

OP: Where did you get them? Are they full size birds? Or bantams?

Not Marans....no copper eye. Should have white-grey skin if Marans...and a bit heavily foot feathered. Marans should have outside leg, outside toe only.

I agree not bright yellow...more pale yellow...but on my screen it looks pale yellow. (Trouble with screen monitors...I do have blue light filtered).

OP what color do you think the chick feet are, in natural lighting? More yellow, pink, or light grey?

Tractor supply, and I would definitely say full sized

Well Tractor Supply is notorious for mislabeling birds. Also, their feed store quality is not necessarily standard.

Definitely NOT Light Brahmas, or Dark Brahmas, or Brahma anything.

*Could* be TS quality Marans...but that's a terrible Marans quality. (Doesn't mean it won't be a nice bird to have).

If smaller...I stick with Cochin.

I think they are the same breed they have looked exactly the same so far and only now am I noticing differences

I think they are just non-standard Marans...really non-standard.

Unless someone has another breed in mind.

I wonder if they're Midnight Majesty Marans? I know those are Marans hybrids, I just never remember if they're a cross of two different Marans varieties or a Marans and another breed.

Does look like TSC's Midnight Majesty Marans. Foot color is right.

I bet that's what they are.

YES....and I just googled and that is a sex-linked cross between a Barred Rock and Marans...which explains the "yellow, spotted" feet and wrong color of eye.

Yes. Watch the one with the slightly larger and pinker comb, but at 6 weeks those look female. Marans telecast earlier, but rocks a little later.
