I don't think we should rule out the Lakenvelder, taking a few looks at it they are very similar. Maybe a mix?

Barnyard mix was actually my first guess... where did you say you got these, @jennymack ?

It might be a Columbian Wyandotte. They looks exactly like Light Brahma except that they don't have feathered feet.

Wrong color skin, wrong comb type, and incorrect pattern for a Wyandotte.

Also wrong comb type and skin color for a Brahma, and wrong skin color for a Sussex.

Unless this bird came from a hatchery, it looks like a mixed breed.

@Chicken Unboxing I got her from a local farm and she was in the "rare choice" category. Several people who have also got them say Silver Lakenvelder. She is 12 weeks now.
