Anyone know, what is wrong with this guinea

The temps have been pretty cold lately, but it was warmer today. My Guineas don't have a coop they sleep on a roost. I haven't really dealt with frostbite before. If this is frostbite what should I do about it.

I coat frostbitten areas with triple antibiotic ointment - the one without any pain medication! - which will help with preventing infection as well as softening up any dead tissue so it falls off.

Guineas are notorious for hating coops, unfortunately. In which case, when we get extreme weather, they pay for their stubbornness. Then again, Leghorns are often the victims of frostbite *inside* a coop.

Just my opinion but I see no evidence of frostbite. Guinea wattles are not like chicken wattles. They are naturally thicker so what would look like swelling on a chicken is not swelling on a guinea. Frostbite would show itself around the edges of the wattles and not as discoloration around the nostrils.

Looking more closely at the pictures, I have to agree that it doesn't really look like frostbite. I do wonder, though, if guineas can get fowlpox. Those blackish bumpy areas like at the nostrils sure do look that way. I will see if I can go through my bookmarked links and see if they can catch it.
Yes guineas can get fowl pox.
