Anyone know, what is wrong with this guinea

If it is fowlpox, the prognosis could be anything from he will just look funny for the rest of his days to he will develop tumors internally and die. Fowlpox is just weird like that. And although there is an immunization for it, I know (at least for chickens), once they have it, it's viral, so there's no magic pill for it. It will just have to run its course, like a cold that we would get.

And that’s why I hesitated to “diagnose” anything for sure - I wasn’t sure if what I saw was frostbite, the natural maturing process of guineas, or what. I just saw an alert that said I had been tagged and wanted to check it out. I’m so glad you other chimed in. I couldn’t even remember who to tag! :lau

It was just luck that I checked in tonight. I get careless and distracted and sometimes don't log on for days or even weeks. Once I get involved in a post, I'll keep checking in until it's resolved or I am no longer of any help. :idunno
