Anyone know what this is? Rock? Scab?

It’s been 2 months and i’m still dealing with this. I’ve been keeping it wrapped, soaking it, etc. She still has a scab on her foot. Smaller but still there. It’s hard too. What else could i possibly do. If i take the bandage off, she limps around and holds up her foot

Corn softener isn’t working?

It worked the first couple times i put it on, now, it’s not really working anymore I bought the patches (i hope that’s what i was supposed to get). Last time i was able to get the little hard scab off, it was yellowish hard stuff in her foot, a very small bit. I tried for like an hour to get it out, tweezers, squeezing, resoaking, repeat, couldn’t get it out. The skin around the scab is very hard. I reput a corn patch on it today and i’m going to wait a couple days to take it off.

I’m also worried about the skin between her toes. It’s been wrapped for so long that the skin is now kind of squished down between her toes

next time i take the bandage off, i will take pictures. It’s not swollen, it’s just a tiny scab maybe the size of a tip of a pen

Thanks for keeping this updated. I'm so discouraged with my bumblefoot case. When I tried taking the scab off, she bled like a stuck pig and scared me to death. When I wrap her foot with the vet wrap, it rubs between her toes and irritates those areas. I use the narrow 1" vetwrap, is that wrong? Are there pics anywhere that show how to wrap a foot, especially how to wrap it so it stays on? Thank you so much, OP and helpers!

I buy the sports wrap from CVS, i think it’s 2” but i cut it in half so it’s 1”. Mine also bled, for a while and i nearly passed out. I take a little piece of gauze with antibiotic ointment on it and put it on the scab. I would say i use about a 6” long piece of vet wrap. I start it about 1/2 above her foot on her leg, wrap it around once, then when it comes back around at the top of her foot, i wrap it between her thumb and her first toe across the bottom of her foot, and then when it gets back to the top of her foot, i wrap it between her first and second toe covering the bottom of her foot again. At this point i need another 6” piece, i start the next piece covering just a little bit of where the first piece ended, i wrap it around her leg again, and then between her second and third toe, and the extra i just wrap up her leg. I then use electrical tape. I take one maybe 4” piece and wrap it ontop of the wrap around her leg. Then i cut another piece of electrical tape in half so it’s smaller and put one piece between each toe, and make an “X” on the bottom of her foot. I make sure not to get any piece of tape on her scales. I then take a 2” piece and put one side on the “X” and across the top of her foot.

I know some people use medical tape ontop of the vet wrap but i used what i had, electrical tape

Sometimes she gets the electrical tape off but it’s enough that by the time she gets it off, it’s time to redo the vet wrap.

I hope this makes sense, i don’t do it very tight but not loosely either, just snug. She has never been able to get the vet wrap off, it sticks together

I'd try drawing salve or clear Iodine.
