anyone know what this is

I third it- a squirrel-so you still have marauding predator. I have NEVER lost fowl in 7 years and I keep havaheart trap set 24/7/365 and HAVE caught coons etc(cats get neutered) and coons get spray painted(to see if they repeat offense, never have) and thoroughly scared by me before I turn them loose. I swear by it and we have only shot 2 coons because they were ill.

I am guessing mostly by size and maybe color. Rats are usually more of a brownish color, that apears (to me) to have a chestnut color to it. Just a wild guess though. and Wow, your cat is awesome. I would love to see a picture of your squirrel (or whatever) hunter. Good kitty, good!

funny thing is something killed a large squirrel a few months ago i did not think it was her i thought it was my old male tom cat but hes not here anymore so it had to of been her that killed the other one and it was huge

If that was my cat, she'd be kept far away from the chickens! If she can do that to a squirrel, I don't think it's far fetched that she'd "chew on" a chicken. Guess it depends on what "chewed on" means.

You'd have better luck figuring out what your predator was, by showing us pictures of the "chewed on" chickens.

not true this cat would never hurt even a baby chicken she sleeps in the same room i keep new born chicks shes done it for years

cats know what a pet is and what an animal is just like dogs do

if she sees a crow or a sea gull in my flock of chickens she will go after it right away

It could be a rat. I've had rats so big, that they barely fit on a regular digging shovel.

My rats are definitely bigger than squirrels.

That's a squirrel your cat dragged home. My cat did that once too. Rat feet aren't that long. How do I know? Uh... I see lots of rats and squirrels and just know. Squirrel.

Those feet you found do not belong to a possum. Possums have weird little black feet with white toes.
