anyone know what this is

I would say a squirrel, and depending on what type of cat it is I'm not that surprised. My neighbors had cats that were all decedents of a Manx and would climb the trees to get the squirrels.

It looks like a squirrel to me but after reading each post in this thread I am absolutely amazed that no one was disturbed that that hideous thing was found on the OP's BED!!!! My goodness if my kitty left nasty presents on my BED I would so totally freak out. The floor is bad enough. LOL

this
is the cat shes calico i was told they make better hunters and are smarter then other cats

anyways the best weasel killers i have found are cats it does not seem possible to keep a weasel out of a coop

so far they killed 2 weasels which might be the animal that chewed up my pigeon i was so upset after finding my bird chewed up i picked it up and threw it in the woods

The hair on the underside of a squirrel's feet are off white on a red and grey squirrel and blonde on a fox squirrel.

As you can see from the pics, the hair on the feet in question is a dark chestnut color underneath. The feet are the right color for a weasle but are way too big.

In my opinion the feet belong to a mink, probably a male based on the size.

That would also explain your chewed up chickens.

ETA: A squirrel has four toes on it back feet, a mink has five. Your pics show five toes.

Hope this helps.

Wow - I've never heard that before. Aren't most calicos females? You just gave me the perfect excuse to kick our extremely annoying and spoiled rotten cat outside. Good thing we never declawed her.

I'd FREAK out if I found that on the bed. OMG - I'd have to throw away all the sheets and would still have nightmares for weeks.

nope nothings touched them since

being a mink would be hard to believe tho i can't see my cat taking something so formitable a squirrel or a rat or weasel sure a mink would be insane

my cat has no marks on her at all so when she killed it she did it fast not sure how

Don't be suprized. A cat is a perfect predator. You would be suprized at what a cat can kill. A mink can squirm abd bite, but a cat can bite and claw. A cat is a formidable killler.

Glad your bird have been untouched.

I lost two Mille Fleur hens to a hawk this week. I feel your loss.
