So, this guy landed on my coop this morning, 4 feet from me. Anyone know what type of hawk this is?

Good point! But The reason I think it’s a Cooper’s hawk and not a red tail is because:Juvenile Red-tailed Hawk. A lot bigger than the Coopers Hawk.

“ The Cooper's has a relatively long, narrow tail with light and dark horizontal bands while the Red-tailed Hawk has a relatively short and wide tail without the obvious banding.”
