Anyone know?

Ok I am new to this site but like it as it has been very helpful. But, I have an ID question please...I "rescued" 6 chickens from Craigslist a few months ago and looked them up on the internet and all I could compare them to was a "Shaver" chicken. Now that I have found this site, I think they are probably something else. Could someone ID my girls? Also, I bought 7 1 month old chickens from a guy and have no idea what they are either. I just got them yesterday. He called them something in Spanish and I can't find that anywhere on the internet, the closest thing I have found is "Old English Game Bantam" or "Jungle Fowl"...Any Ideas?!?!?!

The top ones look like Rhode Island Reds but the legs look white not yellow. If they are older and have been laying the legs might have bleached out.

The bottom ones look like Game birds. Hard to tell if they are Old or Modern variety. Black Breasted Red. Look like hens too.

I am almost certain the top ones are buff orpingtons :9

The top ones I am sure are not RIR and their legs are yellow, bad pic I guess sorry. I wass thinking Buffs too but am pretty new to this after giving up chicken raising 17 years ago lol. Thanks for the info, hopefully someone can ID the bottom ones.

Ok, my husband and I did a little more research and figured out that the bottom chickens are some kind of Asil chicken. The photos I found, which look exactly like my chicks parents, were found on a cock fighting website Now looking back at the conversation with the man who sold them to me; he had too many females, look at how stong the dad is and how big his legs and spurs are; geez I guess I am now the proud owner of what could potentially be fighting chickens. Not that I would ever think of such nonsense but guess I was the naive one; I just thought they were pretty! So does anyone here have Asil or Aseel chickens??

I'm thinking the top ones "could" be New Hampshires? They are not RIR. They could be Orps but I think they are too 'reddish' in color for that.

My girls aren't that red, it's just the picture. The pics of Buffs I saw could be their twin!!! But, thanks!

Looked up Asils (Aseels) ina chicken book I have. They are indeed Indian-origin game birds, and Pakistani. They were originally fighting birds, but that's if they are trained as such, and they arent necessarily mean in any way. They are said to be very independent and beloved by their owners for their classy looks and free-ranging abilities. Don't lay especially well, but not terribly, and supposedly make absolutely excellent mothers.

Hard to tell if that is a pea or single comb. Looks like a single comb, which would lead back to Old English Black Breasted Red Game over Asil. IMHO.

When you said the seller/giver was Spanish and they were game birds, it did cross my mind that they were cock fighting.
