I wouldn't usually post topic to promote product but yesterday I purchased flashlight to candle eggs.I couldn't be more impressed with quality, features, performance and price of light i bought.I found light at Orchard Supply for $17 but I'm sure it's available on Amazon.Anyways it is super powerful. Its only light I have used that allows me to see into my olive eggers eggs.Light beam is adjustable down to tight beam.Flashlight is rechargeable and comes with battery. What is really nice is you can use regular phone charger to recharge battery.Quality is excellent its all aluminum housing feels very sturdy. Its waterproof.10 year warranty. Here are some pics.Doesn't include black rubber boot that is piece shink tube I added myself.Made by Duravision Pro

Can you unscrew the battery from this? I run a lot of 18650 battery based lights(looks like you have the same form factor), two or 3 just for black lighting scorpions at night as well. Those cheap Chinese batteries wear out and are worthless and don't usually have the MaH content they actually list. I might be able to make an inexpensive battery suggestion so your new toy will work well forever and not turn into throwaway junk in a couple of years.

Granted this is not the most current from Mooch but google him for more up to date information. High amperage batteries are useful for Vapers and Laser light enthusiasts. Or people like me who like charging a load of them before Hurricane season.

Wow since then capacities in mAh have nearly doubled. He says I shouldn't share this info in a disclaimer after the end of Jan this year...but to give you an idea how fast tech has advanced I am providing it as is. Also, you are perfectly safe using a high amperage rated battery in a device designed around a low amp draw, the battery only limits the device if it cannot produce the power required by the device. Most of my flashlights have AA or AAA adapters as well but I throw those away as they diminish the light output vs a good battery with high output.

Lol I was looking at the 21700's with my 2nd post and remarks vs 18650's :th

The battery is removable it is single battery looks like a AA but a little bigger

Sounds like an 18350, would you be willing to upload an image with markings? The only reason I suggest this as I really expect it is Chinese garbage you will tire of within one years time. I have ordered so many of my surefire type of 5-10 dollar flashlights that arrive with 5000mAh batteries in a form factor that even Tesla cannot buy with more that 2000mAh in. Yep batteries all died quickly and never held the energy they claimed with my calibrated charger, they usually took 700-800mAh before full. But the light output from a decent cree led bulb is simply amazing I'm not suggesting any of the other hardware there is bad, just the core battery from past experiences. Edit also compare it to my original image, it could still be an 18650 but if the packaging claims more than 3000mAH it is probably a lie unless you see samsumg, LG, Sony, Sanyo or Panasonic markings on it(this is the most scrimpted upon part of a flashlight)

As a follow on post I do realize an egg candler doesn't need the same reliability as emergency lighting post disaster, but I have found once I got my first I went into highly dependable batteries pretty quick. I do like the efficiency and reliability of both the batteries and the LED bulbs just as you have noticied with your setup.

once you have 10-15 batteries these things are cheap and made of milled aluminimum https://www.amazon.com/Lumen-Zoomable-18650-Flashlight-Adjustable/dp/B00YZ0GAEG ----bad example as this one is 10 dollars shipped!

usually 6 bucks or less including shipping check cree 18650 flashlight on amazon.

Here is pic of battery
Yep if you google SOSLLI battery chinese companies on aliexpress show up. definately an 18650 though, with two spacers to keep it from rattling a bit in the handle. https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/SOSLLI-3-7V-2600mAh-lithium-ion_60725667886.html

Here is a model they sell in 100 piece lots at 1.15-1.85 per battery. You just have to wonder how they TOTALLY match the performance of Samsung/Sony/LG and others at 1/4th the price...........

Interestingly enough those two spacers make it seem the flashlight was designed to hold a 20650 battery since it is 2mm larger.
