I can understand your excitement for the candle power of those lights they are so incredibly bright. I like your shrink tube idea for setting on an egg. I have yet to need to candle but good to know I have most of the tools for it when I cross that bridge. Thanks for the initial post!
The head of my flashlight fits nicely into a toilet paper tube so I might try that first since they are on hand already. Edit I tested the paper towel roll.
