Anyone make homemade pudding?

I've been meaning to start making pudding again, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I used to make it all the time.

It's so much better than the stuff out of the box. You just have to be careful not to scorch it.
 
I've been making the cornstarch pudding. It's on the box of cornstarch. My mom used to make it for us when we were kids and have it with Jello. Yummmm, sure brings back memories I can taste.

Oh yeah. I don't do it often, but if I want pudding, it will be from scratch. I probably use a different recipe every time, out of Betty Crocker or Fanny Farmer or off the web somewhere; doesn't seem to matter much. Used to love lemon meringue pie as a kid, but truth is it was only the lemon pudding I wanted, so now I just make that. I do the same with pumpkin pie, just make the filling and bake it in custard cups til solid.
