I've seen lots of folks from up ohio way, not sure about athens, but I notice them because thats where I was raised. YOu might try this thread...

I have only lived in Athens for 9 years. I grew up in a little town called Belpre Ohio...on the Ohio river, across from Parkersburg, WV.

I love my "little" farm and all my chickens and animals.

I love southeast ohio. I was born in Wheelersburg, but we moved when I was only four up to Westerville, by Columbus. I always enjoyed the visits back there, though.
