Y'all think this is about average for a broody duck? I don't have much to compare to because my only other duck who's gone broody so far is penguin and she turns into a little attacking demon when she is broody. I've been stopping by Karen's coop a few times a day bringing pets and mealworms, but yesterday I found her nest was infested with ants eating the mealworms so I changed out her straw and stopped doing mealworms. Her behavior seems about the same today as it was the first time I did this. She doesn't seem to completely hate it, at least not enough to get up and get off her nest, but she doesn't seem to particularly like it either. No clue if any of this will help in the process of taming her but I guess only time will tell.
She looks more receptive than the last time to me! Of course, I don't speak muscovy so I don't know what her chirps mean.

But... My ducks, who jump into my lap for mealworms, refuse to eat them from my hands when they are broody. All they will do is hiss at me! With their bills open! We're talking complete rejection.

I've been trying to get Pigeon a little more used to the harness, ive only brought her in and put her in it a few times, but she definitely hates it the least out of all of my ducks.
Anybody have any tips to get her to accept it a little bit more? She is too focused on trying to get it off she didn't even take worms from me.

I've heard that you just have to leave it on them a lot and in time they get used to it. I tried getting Pigweed used to a diaper when she was a baby but she hated it so much I couldn't do it and took it off after an hour.

Yeah I haven't been leaving it on more than a few minutes. I'm thinking maybe I should start with something smaller the harness with rhe diaper is kind of awkward to leave on her when she jumps into her pool

Mine only like to bite my feet lmAo, its not aggressive they just kind of play with my feet until they bleed... wearing shoes or socks is the only way I can go out lol whenever they see the toes they attack
sometimes I accidentally pour seed of my feet and they think they are worms. I just shuffle away
